JOHN J. LANGILLE SR., 71, of East Washington Street,
a retired plant manager, died Wednesday at Milton (Mass.) Hospital.
Born in Somerville, Mass.,
a son of the late Gordon R. and Celia M. (McInnis) Langille,
he lived in North Attleboro for six years, previously living in Quincy and Manomet, Mass.
Mr. Langille was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He worked for 50 years at Sunshine Laundromat Inc., Allston, Mass.,
retiring as plant manager in 1991.
He was a communicant of St. Marys Church.
He was a 20-year member of the John Aldon Sportsman Club
and a member of VFW Post 1822, both in Plymouth, Mass.
He enjoyed playing cards and lobstering.
He leaves two daughters, Kathleen M. DAmbrosio of Manomet
and Jeanne M. Lang of North Attleboro;
a son, John J. Langille Jr. of North Attleboro;
a sister, Lavonia OHanlon of Somerville;
a brother, Gordon Langille in California;
and seven grandchildren and a great- grandchild.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Langille.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
in Commonwealth Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave.
Burial will be private.
