LANGILLE, Arnold Frank - 62, Halifax, died January 5, 2001, in the VG Site, QEII.
Born in Stanburn, Lunenburg Co.,
he was a son of the late Corey and Ethel (Brown) Langille.
He was employed with the Federal Fisheries Department until his retirement in 1994.
After his retirement he went to work for Sears Call Centre on a part time basis.
He was a Scout leader and District Commissioner for Harbour West and
was a member of Halifax Police from 1959-1967.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Doiron) Langille, Halifax;
sons, Terry and his wife Kathy Langille, Guelph, Ont.;
Craig and Julie Langille, Peach Land, B.C.;
daughters, Darlene and her husband Paul Westhaver, Halifax;
Michelle and her husband Craig MacMullin, Sydney;
sister, Shirley Silver, Watford;
grandchildren, Cameron, Matthew, Justin, Adam, Anna, Corey and Caitriona.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd.,
where visitation will be held today 2-4, 7-9 p.m., Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday from funeral home chapel, Rev. Carl Price officiating.
Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
