LANGILLE, Harvey Whitman, - 65, Blockhouse, died Sunday, December 21, 1997,
in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born on Tancook Island, Lunenburg Co.,
he was a son of the late Harvey and Violet (Jollymore) Langille.
In his earlier years he was employed on gypsum boats and later on fishing draggers with Scotia Trawler
Equipment Ltd., until his retirement.
He was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg.
Surviving are daughter, Gloria (Mrs. Gary Whynot), Yarmouth;
son, Wayne and wife Shelly, Maitland;
sister, Joyce (Mrs. Samuel Whynot), Riverport;
brothers, Sterling, Prince Rupert, BC;
Melbourne, Lunenburg;
five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Verna Meisner,
an infant daughter, granddaughter Grace,
brothers, Roy, St. Clair.
Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. today in Central United Church, Lunenburg,
Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IWK-Grace Health Centre or any charity.
Arrangements entrusted to Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
