George Louis Langill

VIRGINIA BEACH -- George Louis Langill, 77, of the 2900 block of Breezy Road,
died June 28, 2000, in his residence.
Born in Lenox, Mass.,
Mr. Langill retired as a regional marketing manager for Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing
and was a member of Church of the Holy Family.
A graduate of the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.,
Mr. Langill was a U.S. Maritime Service veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Aemelia Langill;
two daughters, Barbara Stuempfig and her husband, Don, of Waukesha, Wis.,
Nancy Denigris and her husband, Robert, of Boulder, Colo.;
a sister, Doris Ralston of Milton, Mass.;
a brother, John Langill of N. Weymouth, Mass.;
and two grandchildren, Scott Stuempfig and Steven Stuempfig.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday
in Church of the Holy Family by Father Thomas J. Quinlen.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at the church from noon to 2 p.m. Monday
. Memorial donations may be sent to Sentara Hospice Program,
535 Independence Parkway, Suite 200, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge.
He loved people, boating and a good party.
