CROSSMAN, Raymond "Bunny" - 84, Highcrest Nursing Home, Springhill,
formerly of Amherst died October 8, 2000, at the home.
Born in Moncton, N.B.,
he was a son of the late Riley and Anna (Armstrong) Crossman.
He worked for English Electric and the St. Catharines School Board in St. Catharines, Ont.,
as well as Atlantic Wholesalers, Amherst.
He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the North Nova Scotia Highlanders.
He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 10, Amherst.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ena Gladys Langille;
many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by son, Raymond James Crossman;
sisters, Helen Mitton, Mildred Kervin.
No visitation.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 10, Wednesday,
both in the Amherst Cemetery.
Memorial service 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Salvation Army Citadel, Amherst,
Captains Clancy and Lynn Pippy officiating.
Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or any charity.
Arrangements entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst.
