TANNER, Amy Louise - 74, Stonehurst, died Thursday, March 16, 2000,
in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Stonehurst, Lunenburg Co.,
she was a daughter of the late George Isaac and Anne Louise (Risser) Langille.
For a number of years,
she went inshore fishing with her companion Harry Tanner in Stonehurst.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Blue Rocks
and the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her companion, Harry;
daughters, Bertha (Mrs. Dana Tanner), Mildred (Mrs. Harold Sawler), all of Stonehurst;
grandchildren, Kurt Tanner, Betty Grimm, Randy Tanner, Troy and Jamie Sawler;
great-grandson, Dalton Grimm; nieces, Judy Tanner, Stonehurst;
Karen Mercer, Lunenburg.
She was predeceased by husband, Earl;
sisters, Loretta, Olive, Bertha, Mary;
brother, Roy.
Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 3,
Lunenburg,
Rev. Heather Hemming officiating.
A private committal will be held at a later date.
