MacGREGOR, L. M. Hazel - 99, Oddfellow's Home, Pictou, formerly of River John,
passed away May 4, 2000, in the Home.
She was a daughter of the late Charles and Phoebe (Langille) Langille.
She spent many years of her married life on the family farm in Cape John and the past four and a half years as a resident of the Oddfellow's Home, Pictou.
She was a member of Salem United Church, River John and a life member of the UCW.
She had a kind and selfless nature and was much loved by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughters, Sarah Craig (Donald), Grace Swantee, Christine Johnson (Earl), Kathleen Baillie (Robert), all of River John;
Marie Park, Cambridge, Ont.;
son, James MacGregor (Joan), Calgary, Alta.;
sisters, Charlotte Heighton, Jean Heighton, River John.
She was predeceased by her husband, George MacGregor;
son, Robert Allison MacGregor;
sons-in-law, Anthony Swantee and Jack Park;
grandchildren, Gregory Turple, Ruby MacKenzie, George Craig, Leon Swantee;
sisters, Ella Bigney, Kathrine MacKay.
The remains are resting in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John with visitation 7-9 p.m. today.
Funeral under the direction of MacLeod's with funeral service 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Salem United Church, River John, Pastor David Eagles officiating assisted by Rev. Don Sutherland.
Burial in Hamilton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of Salem United Church, River John or the Oddfellow's Home, Pictou.
