GALLANT, Marjorie Marie - 58, Drysdale Road, Halifax,
passed away March 6, 2000, in the VG Site, QEII.
Born in Halifax,
she was a daughter of the late George and Effie (Langille) Hanans.
She had been employed by Com Care as a personal care worker.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Gallant.
Surviving are sons, Thomas and Joseph, Halifax;
daughter, Suzette, Halifax;
brothers, Allan, Darrell, both of Halifax;
Robert, Ontario;
sisters, Rosalie Ryan "Viney", Prospect Village;
Loretta (Bruce) Hemlow; New Westminster, B.C.;
Helena (Mrs. Mike Connors), Alberta;
Linda (Basher), Hamilton, Ont.;
Gwendolyn Richardson, Halifax;
Wanda (Mrs. Rick Neaves), Sackville;
seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
companion, Vic Doucette.
She was predeceased by brother, George "Buddy";
sister, Florence "Flossie".
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held today,
March 8 at 2 p.m., in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax,
Rev. Carl Price will officiate.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Halifax.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
