Braeshore - Harold Raymond Clow, 73, Braeshore,
died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.
Born in New Glasgow,
he was a son of the late James William and Flora (Roberts) Clow.
He was a retired fisherman
and also worked for several years as plant electrician for Canadian Admiral, Port Credit, Ont.
He served with the Marine Squadron in the Canadian Air Force in the Second World War
and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Pictou Branch No. 16.
He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Langille;
two daughters, Lynn, Pictou;
Donna, the Caribbean;
four sisters; Georgina (Mrs. John Murray), Montreal;
Mrs. Jessie MacKenzie, Cambridge, Ont.;
Mrs. Florence Purvis, New Glasgow;
Roxanne (Mrs. Dan Kaposki), Chilliwack, B.C.;
a brother, John, Ontario.
He was predeceased by four brothers, William, Daniel, James and Vernon;
a sister, Lynn.
The remains are resting in McLaren Funeral Home,
where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Haliburton cemetery.
No flowers by request.
