PICTOU - Aubrey Allison MacLellan, 71, of West River Road,
died Sunday in Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou.
Born in River John,
he was a son of the late Wilfred and Myrtle (Langille) MacLellan.
He served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War Two.
He once operated a farm in River John,
moving to Pictou 30 years ago.
He had worked as an autobody mechanic until retirement.
He is survived by two daughters,
Donna Anderson, Dartmouth;
Ricky MacLellan, Toronto;
two sons, Fred and Michael, both of Pictou;
three grandchildren,
four sisters,
Florence (Mrs. Bert MacLean), Pictou;
Eva Bugler, River John;
May (Mrs. Archie Laurie), Truro;
Irene (Mrs. Vince Murray), Larry's River,
three brothers, Bill and Lloyd, both of River John;
Ronnie, Pictou.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Van den Braak;
a brother, Roy.
His remains are resting in McLaren's Funeral Home, Pictou,
with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James Anglican Church.
Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
