Obituary: Massachusetts WORCESTER - Donald S. Langille, 64,
of 5 Barnes Ave., a draftsman for 45 years,
a longtime officer in the Massachusetts National Guard and an expert marksman,
died Saturday at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of eight years, Frances E. (Berry) Jewers Langille;
two sons, D. Stephen Langille of Leicester and
Michael F. Langille of Randolph;
two daughters, Elizabeth Langille-Shiner of North Adams and
Kathleen M. Yahn of Fairbanks, Alaska;
two stepsons, Douglas R. Jewers of Holden and
Gary N. Jewers of Worcester;
a stepdaughter, Krista M. Jewers of Worcester;
a sister, Barbara M. Pierce of Paxton;
nine granchildren.
He was a member and deacon of Greendale Peoples Church.
He was a member of the Little Beaver Association in Maine
and the Seven Hills Camera Club.
He was a life member of the National Rifle Association,
which named him a high master shooter.
He was a former captain of the Massachusetts National Guard State Rifle Team
and was named a distinguished rifleman by the Army.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in
Greendale Peoples Church, 25 Francis St.
Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 tonight at Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St.
