MacBURNIE, Susan Viola - 88, Tatamagouche, died March 27, 2000,
in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born in Millbrook, Colchester Co.,
she was a daughter of the late David and Sarah (Langille) Langille.
She was a lifelong resident of the Tatamagouche area and had worked
as a clerk at C.G. Gulton Pharmacy until she married,
at which time she started keeping overnight guests and borders
in her own home for the next 55 years.
She was a member of Sharon United Church, Tatamagouche
and a Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Austin;
daughter, Jewel Forbes, Orleans, Ont.;
one grandson;
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter in infancy;
brothers, Earl, Leslie;
sisters, Beatrice, Agnes;
two siblings in infancy.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral 2 p.m. Thursday,
both in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche,
Rev. Morley Bentley officiating.
Burial at a later date in Tatamagouche Cemetery.
Family flowers only.
Donations to North Shore Health Services Foundation or Willow Lodge.
