ERNST, Whidden - 82, Maitland, Lunenburg Co., died March 21, 2000,
in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg.
Born in Maitland,
he was a son of the late James and Laura (Langille) Ernst.
He was a member of Christ Church, Maitland and
had worked with Bowater Mersy Paper Company for 25 years as a woodsman.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Louise (Smicer) Ernst, Maitland;
son, Douglas and his wife Deborah, Maitland;
daughter, Susan Brown and her husband Bruce, British Columbia;
sisters, Lena Hirtle and her husband Rodney, Maitland;
Lenora Lundrigan and her husband William, Halifax;
grandchildren, Christopher Ernst and Sheila Ernst.
He was predeceased by sisters, Eva, Edna and Emily;
brothers, Allan, Melvin, Lawrence and Eldred.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, in Christ Church, Maitland,
Rev. Linda Macdonald officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ Church or Harbour View Haven.
