Wallace Glenmore Langille
February 18, 1900 - September 5, 1964
Relatives and friends here were saddened to receive the news
of the death of Wallace G. Langille, Athol, MA,
d. Sept 5th in Athol Memorial Hospital.
Born 64 years ago in Newburne, Lunenburg Co.,
son of Soloman & Victoria (Powers) Langille.
Besides his widow, the former Prudence Taylor,
he leaves a daughter, Mrs. LaVerne DuBois of Newton, Mass;
three brothers, Charles of Middleton, USA;
Enos of Farmington (Lunenburg County);
Josh of Newburne (Lunenburg County);
Mrs. Ida Zinck of Chester, N.S.;
and four grandchildren.
Mr. Langille was a nightwatchman at L.B. Starret Co. for 16 years.
Previously he worked for 25 years at the Mount Herman School, Northfield.
He was a member of Turner's Fall Baptist Church.
The funeral service was held from Higgins Funeral Home
with Rev. Lester White of Northfield officiating.
Beautiful floral tributes were silent testimony of the esteem
in which Mr. Langille was held by a host of relatives and friends.
