MERCER, Ida Margaret - South Attleborough, Mass., died January 13, 2000.
Born in Tatamagouche,
she was a daughter of the late Robert B. and Elizabeth M. (Waugh) Langille.
As a young woman she moved to Truro and worked at the Weekly News and then moved to the United States and lived in various parts before settling in Massachusetts.
She remained a true bluenoser by spending all of her summers in Tatamagouche and was a member of Sharon United Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 64, Ladies Auxiliary, both in Tatamagouche.
Surviving are her husband, David;
son, Brian, London, Ont.;
stepdaughters, Helen, Toronto; Kate, Virginia;
brothers, Ronald, Needham, Mass.;
Robert, Hamilton, Ont.
She was predeceased by brother, Curtis; sister, Joyce.
Cremation has taken place. Burial at a later date in London, Ont.
