Lunenburg - Mrs. Winnie Victoria Ernst, 85, of First Peninsula, Lunenburg County,
died Sunday in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Maitland, Lunenburg County,
she was a daughter of the late Demas and Esaline (Aulenback) Langille.
She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg and a former member of the Ladies' Aid and St. John's Social Club.
She is survived by five daughters,
Mary (Mrs. Lowell Veinot), Pinehurst, Lunenburg County;
Eloise (Mrs. Inger Karlsen) Hamilton, Ont.;
Ivy (Mrs. Bruce Ramey) Caledonia, Ont.;
Doris, First Peninsula;
Lucille Mosher, First South, Lunenburg County;
four sons,
Cyril and John, First Peninsula;
Herbert, Gravenhurst, Ont.;
Winston, Peterborough, Ont.;
a brother, Selwyn, Blockhouse;
24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur;
a son, Alton;
five sisters, two brothers, two half-sisters and four half-brothers.
The body is in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg.
Rev. Bruce Howe officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church,
Fishermen's Memorial Hospital or any charity.
