LANGILLE, Hope E. - 84, Martins River, Lunenburg Co.,
passed away January 12, 2000, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Martins River,
she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Blanche (Hiltz) Langille.
She was a member of St. Martin's Anglican Church, Martins River where she was a choir member. She belonged to the Busy Bee Club, now known as the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Martin's Church. She was a member of the Martin's River Garden Club, the Indian Oaks Seniors Club and the Ocean View Seniors Club, Western Shore.
She is survived by daughters, Norma and her husband Gerald Langille, Martins River;
Beverley and her husband Frederick Countway, Chester Grant;
sons, Gavin Langille, Western Shore;
Andrew and his wife Janice, Newfoundland;
sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Allen Stevens), Marriotts Cove;
Shirley (Mrs. Roy Lilly), Dartmouth;
brother, Ernest, Northwood Manor, Halifax;
10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stewart;
brothers(sic), Donald and Evelyn.
Visitation will be today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St.,Mahone Bay.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday,
in St. Martin's Anglican Church, MartinsRiver, Rev. Michael Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made St. Martin's Foundation Fund or The Lung Association.
