CROWE, Hazel Elizabeth - 92, Central New Annan, died December 26, 1999,
in Hillcrest Manor, Truro.
Born in Central New Annan,
she was a daughter of the late Fred and Amy (MacLellan) Langille.
She attended Wilson's School in Central New Annan and
graduated from Halifax Summer School and
then taught school in West Earltown and Byers School in West New Annan.
She then moved to Wellesley, Mass., t
rained and graduated from the Newton Wellesley Hospital receiving her RN in 1930.
She worked in Wellesley for 13 years doing private nursing.
In 1941, she married Cecil Crowe and then moved to Truro
where she nursed until she retired in 1975.
Surviving are son, Peter, Fairview;
sister, Mildred Langille, Wellesley Hills, Mass.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil C.; son, Cecil R.;
brothers, Lester, Alton, Fred.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro.
Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, in Central New Annan Baptist Church, Central New Annan,
Rev. Richard Hovey officiating.
Burial in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery, Tatamagouche Mountain.
