OLD BARNS -- Effie Mabel Geddes 58, of Old Barns, Colchester County,
died Saturday in Colchester Hospital, Truro.
Born in River John, Pictou County,
she was a daughter of Mrs. Florence {Dwyer} and the late Vernley Langille.
She lived in Brantford, Ontario for 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald;
a son ,Brian, Brantford;
a daughter Karen {Mrs. Steve Mc Geoch} Huntsville, Ont.;
5 brothers: Vern, Glen and Oakley,all of Ont.;
Keith,Hamilton;
and Jack, Saskatoon;
5 sisters: Dorthea{Mrs. David Fraser} Hamilton;
Mrs. Marjorie Hansford, Pictou;
Eunice {Mrs. Amel Sutherland} River John;
Eleanor,{Mrs. Tom Grinnell} ,Parry Sound,Ont.;
Myrna,{Mrs Jack MacKay} Toney River.
She was predeceased by a brother Douglas.
The remains are resting in Mattatall`s Funeral Home,Truro, where Funeral service will be held Tues. at 2pm.
Interment will be in Old Barns Cemetery at a later date.
