HAUGHAN, Grace Evelyn - 92, Lyons Brook, Pictou Co., formerly of Fairview, Halifax Co.,
passed away July 18, 1999, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Dayspring, Lunenburg Co.,
she was a daughter of the late Charles and Maggie (Emeneau) Langille.
A resident of Fairview for 42 years,
she was a long standing member of Mizpak Rebekah Lodge 115 and a faithful member of St. John's Anglican Church. She was also active in the Fairview Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 142, where she was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for outstanding devotion to the work of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by son, Glendon (Phyllis), Lyons Brook;
granddaughters, Peggy and Virginia;
great-granddaughters, Pamela and Sara;
great-grandson, Dan;
daughter-in-law, Pat, Lyons Brook; great-granddaughters, Andrea and Lisa; great-grandson, Briley.
She was predeceased by her husband, William;
sister, Olive; son, Frank; grandson, Barrie; granddaughter, Krista.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James Anglican Church, Pictou, Rev. Dale Cuffe officiating assisted by Rev. Cecil Hebb.
Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery.
