DALTON (Langille)(Myatt), Dorothy C. - Tyngsboro, Mass., formerly of Charlestown, Mass.,
died April 26, 1998, in Palm Manor Nursing Home, Chelmsford, Mass.
She was married to the late Peter Dalton who died in 1971
and the late Bligh Langille who died in 1941.
Born in Somerville, Mass., on March 18, 1904,
she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Bellefontaine) Myatt.
She spent her childhood years in Dartmouth and was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Halifax, class of 1921.
She has made her home in Tyngsboro for the past 16 years and prior to that she lived in Charlestown for 60 years.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford and St. Francis DeSales Church in Charlestown.
She enjoyed playing bingo, and was a member of the Tyngsboro Senior Citizens Club.
She was predeceased by sons, Donald Langille in 1974, Wallace Langille in 1984;
sisters, Grace Young, Kathleen Emberly, Florence LaPierre, Laurie Myatt.
She is survived by son, John and wife Rita M. (Birr) Dalton, Tyngsboro;
brother, William and wife Celia (Lefler) Myatt, Hamilton, Ont.;
sister, Winnifred and husband Donald Sandall, Halifax;
sister-in-law, Mrs. Katherine (McKay) Myatt, Cape Breton;
12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, funeral 8 a.m. Wednesday both in Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, Mass.
Funeral mass 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, North Chelmsford, Mass.
Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Mass.
