LANGILLE, Douglas Raymond - 63, West Branch,
died June 9, 1998, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born at Mountain Road,
he was a son of Chester and Edna (Patriquin) Langille.
He was a member of River John Fire Department;
Burns Memorial Presbyterian Church, West Branch,
and a charter member of River John Lions Club.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He worked at Clint Dickson's Sawmill until his illness.
Besides his parents,
he is survived by his wife, the former Helen Oxley, West Branch;
son, Stanley and wife Wendy, Plainfield;
daughter, Janice and husband David Miller, Millsville;
grandsons, Kyle, Tyler and Justin;
brothers, Phil, West Branch; Willis, Seafoam;
sisters, Alice (Mrs. Walter Langille), Loganville;
Iola Jewell, River John;
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today,
the fire department and Lyons Club will hold their memorial service
at 6:40 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. today, all in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday
in West Branch United Church, Rev. Mark McLennan officiating.
Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society,
River John Fire Department or the charity of choice.
