LEGAL, Fred S. - 82, 96 Spring St., Saint John, N.B.,
died June 19, 1998, in Saint John Regional Hospital.
He was born in Regina.
He worked as a merchant navy seaman throughout the Second World War,
having received the following awards:
The 1939-45 Star, The Atlantic Star, The Burma Star, The CVSM and Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45.
He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Montreal,
and a member of Seafarers International Union of Montreal.
Surviving is his wife, the former Beulah Langille.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main St., Oxford, Rev. Kevin Smith officiating.
Burial in Millvale Baptist Cemetery, Millvale.
