KEIZER, Vernon LeRoy - 61, Alberta Street, Dartmouth,
died September 10, 1998, at home.
Born at Porters Lake,
he was a son of the late Noble and Nellie (Logan) Keizer.
He was a retired inspector with the Department of Transportation and,
prior to that, he worked for Bolands IGA and owned his own trucking business.
Surviving are his wife, the former Reta Langille;
daughters, Carol Ann (Mrs. George Joyce), Tracy, Dartmouth;
a granddaughter;
brothers, Ronald, Grand Desert;
Cyril, Porters Lake;
many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sister, Verna; brother, Angus.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Memorial service 2 p.m. Monday in Christ Church, Dartmouth, Archdeacon Paul Smith and Rev. David Garrett officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
Burial 2 p.m. Tuesday in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery,
Rev. Morley Bentley officiating. Family flowers only.
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Metro Food Bank or any charity.
