Marriage Announcement for
Alice Langille & Ernest Reginald Hicks
HICKS-LANGILLE
A pretty wedding took place in St. Margarets Church,
New Toronto, when Alice Winifred , youngest daughter
of Mrs. E. Lester, became the bride of Ernest Reginald Hicks.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. S. Medill. The bride
who was given in marriage by her brother Mr. Cecil Langille,
wore true blue georgette trimmed with blond lace, hat to match
blond shoes and stockings, and carried a bouquet of pink
and white carnations. She was attended by her sister Miss
Doris Langille, who wore yellow georgette with hat to match
and carried daffodils. The groom was attended by Mr Victor
Drury of Toronto. A reception was held at the home of the
brides mother. Mr. & Mrs. Hicks left for Welland there
they will reside.
HICKS - At Creemore, on Wednesday, January 13th, 1932, to
Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Hicks (nee Alice Langille), a son.
