on the oath of H. B. McKay
Memorandum of Agreement made this twenty-seventh day of February, in the
year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and seventy-one between
David
Langill, Senior of River John in the County of Pictou, of the one part
and
James Langill, David Langill, John M. Langill and Isaac Langill, sons of
the
said David Langill, Senior, on the other part.
Viz - That the said David Langill, Senior, hereby do and have given up
by
deed to the above mentioned James Langill, David Langill, Jr., John M.
Langill and Isaac Langill, sons of the aforesaid David Langill, all his
real
estate and personal property and whatsoever labour he, the said David
Langill Senior., may be able voluntarily to give about the premises. In
consideration of these above mentioned particulars the said James
Langill,
David Langill, John M. Langill and Isaac Langill in their part engage to
furnish the said David Langill, Senior, their father, and also to their
mother, during the lifetime of the longest survivor of them, the
following .
Viz - the use of one horse, three cows and young beast, twelve sheep
also sixty bushels of wheat, thirty bushels of oats, two hundred bushels of
potatoes and the sowing of some flax when required and also pay the
lawful tax levied on the property.
In testimony that this agreement is made in good faith,
