About Me

I am a happy husband  of 17 years to my beautiful wife Chellane.  I also am the proud father of two lovely, intelligent and gifted daughters, Kayla and Sophia.  My oldest daughter Kayla would like to either be a Marine Biologist or a Veterinarian.  I have a Siberian Husky named Duchess and a Schnauzer/Lab mixed named Gi-Gi.  I have two cats (or should I say, they have me) named Slippers and Flip-flop.

My favorite hobbies are bass fishing (especially with my Uncle Rick), camping, Genealogy, firearms (but not hunting) and playing on the XBOX 360 with my oldest daughter Kayla.

My career is the designing and building of Cancer Treatment Facilities from New York to Puerto Rico.  My career requires me to quite a bit of travel and I try and squeeze in Genealogy related items when I can during this travel.  I work for my Father, Jim Davis who is the owner of the company.

Jeffrey started his service with the U.S. Navy on July 7, 1987. Jeff attended boot camp at Great Lakes, Illinois (Company 237). He served at many different duty stations while in the service. He learned, operated and ultimately instructed the Mk 41 VLS (Vertical Launching System). Jeff was also a Small Arms instructor. He served aboard the USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55), commissioned the USS Chosin (CG-65) and commissioned the USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53). Jeff has made deployments to the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf. The countries that he visited in no particular order are: Panama, Egypt, France, Mexico, Turkey, Italy, Sicily, Singapore, Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

After a little over 11 years of service, he separated from the Navy on November 12, 1998 in order to spend more time with his wife Chellane and daughter Kayla. While Jeff was at his final duty station, he went to night school for 3 years and earned his degree in Business Administration at Cuyamaca College and University of Phoenix in San Diego, California. Jeff left Naval service as a GM1(SW) (Gunner's Mate First Class Petty Officer, Surface Warfare Qualified) which is pay grade E-6.

While Jeffrey was in the Armed Forces, he was awarded the following decorations: (1) Navy Achievement Medal (2 Gold Stars), (2) Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon, (3) Navy "E" Ribbon (3 awards), (4) Good Conduct Medal (2 stars), (5) National Defense Medal, (6) Southeast Asia Service Medal (1 star), (7) Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (1 star), (8) Sharpshooter Rifle Ribbon, (9) Expert Pistol Medal.

After leaving the Armed Forces, Jeff did some Defense Electronics Contracting (Anteon, Techmatics Division and then MCA Engineers). He instructed Naval Weapon Systems while at these companies. Finally, Jeff went to work with his Father building Cancer Treatment Centers around the country.

This is me and my uncle Eric (a.k.a. Rick) Langford.

He taught me how to fish as a boy.

This is me on my last trip to the John Day River in Oregon.

I go here once a year with my Uncle and friends.  We drift down a large section of this river for about a week and fish, camp, etc.  This is my spiritual retreat and is in my opinion, "God's Country!"  Firearms and fishing, it is my calling.
