William and Anna Lamphear are buried at Hatton Cemetery near his parents and two of their sons, George and Andrew. Their stone is marked "Zebulon Lamphear Donor". Their offspring produced 37 grandchildren, most still living in Wisconsin. Their boys all served in World War I. Information on this family provided by Palmer Myhra.
Andrew Lamphear Andrew was Palmers favorite uncle. So much so that Palmer wrote a story about Andrew. Andrew never married and lived with Amanda on the farm for a while. He also worked as a farm hand just down the road from his grandparents, Zebulon and Betsey in Lind Township. There are silos still standing. (Go west from Zebulons farm, turn North - about 1/4 mile up the road the silos are on the right.) The silos were built around the 1950s so they werent there when Andrew worked on the farm, but they are a good marker as to where the farm was.
