This is the Original Akester Homestead, home of William Akester & wife Ann Bradley in Roxham, Quebec. It is located on the south-west corner of the Roxham Road - Fisher Street Junction. This was also the home of Robert Akester & wife Sarah Bravender, Julius Akester & wife Maud Elvidge, as well as Jim Akester & wife Viola McNaughton. Photo taken on 25 JL 2000.
