Samuel was a farmer. Janet was a teacher. She taught school in School # 5, Havelock Township. Once married, they lived on the farm that Samuel grew up on. That farm was at 2182 Covey Hill Road, Lot 48c (Allchin), Franklin Township, Huntingdon County, Quebec, Canada.

Samuel and Janet were buried in the Ames Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Bridgetown, Route 202, Franklin Township, Huntingdon County, Quebec, Canada.

His brother, Clifford, said John had good scholastic abilities. At the age of 14 years, he died of Scarlet Fever.

Agnes became a teacher. She maried Truman and they lived at 1303 Petit France Road in Noyan, Noyan Township, Missisquoi County, Quebec, Canada. They had no children.
