Gilbert and Euphemia lived on a farm at Ranboro [Randboro or Randborough], Newport Township, Compton County, Quebec.  The relative location of Ranboro is in the vicinity of 50 miles south-east of the City of Sherbrooke.

Earnest took over the family farm near Ranboro and lived there until his death.

Roy lived less than a year.

Edwin studied at McGill Univerisity, Montreal to be a minister. He was a circuit rider of a charge in Saskatchewan for several years.  He gave up the ministry and returned to the Province of Quebec, living for some time in Baie Comeau.

Nelson was born at Ranboro.  He also studied at McGill University to be a minister.  A change of plans caused him not to complete the program.
