Dec. 7, 1897 William Grimshaw aged ninety- one years. Funeral will take
place from his late residence Wolfe Island tomorrow (Thursday) forenoon at 11
o'clock.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to

An old resident gone
All the old time residents of Wolfe
Island are dropping off, the last one to join the ever ranks of the silent
majority being William Grimshaw aged 91 years. Deceased was born in
Vermont but in 1831 settled on Wolfe Island where he has since resided. He
was a prosperous farmer, well liked and respected by the entire community.
Fourteen years ago his wife pre- deceased him to the grave. He leaves a
family of five boys and two girls.
