1915 DEATH


CLINTON MILLS

On Saturday morning, April 3, occurred the death of Mrs. Rosanna Covey, an old and much respected resident of this community. Death was caused by pneumonia, of which disease she had been ill about ten days.

Mrs. Covey's maiden name was Rosanna McGee. She was born at Covey Hill, P. Q., November 9, 1845. At an early age she was united in marriage to the late Enos Covey. She was a kind neighbor and had endeared herself to all who new her.

The funeral was held on Monday morning, April 5, at eleven o'clock, from t h e home of her son, Cornelius Covey, with whom she resided. The Rev. W. R. Ryder was the officiating clergyman. The pall bearers were, Water Moore, Joseph Gibson, Sigsmer Rogers and Robert Colgan.

Mrs. Covey leaves three sons to mourn her loss; Benjamin, of Alberta, Can., William H. and Cornelius, of this place.
