EDITH M. BOMBARD Malone - Edith M. Bombard, 88, of Franklin county Nursing Home, died Friday Jan. 19, 1996. She was born in Franklin Center,Quebec, April 15, 1907, the daughter of Walter W, and Myrtle M. (Gay) Frier. She attended school in Franklin Center and moved to Malone in 1946. She married Erwin H. Bombard June 16, 1950, in Brushton,. He died March 10, 1979. She worked for Warner Brothers Corp. in Malone, then for North Country Dress Factory, which later became B.J. Manufacturing. She retired in 1986. She was a member of St. Joseph's church, St. Joseph's Altar and Rosary Society and St. Joseph's Pastoral Outreach Team. Survivors include a brother, Harold Frier of Rockburn, Que. and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Thompson of Dewittville, Quebec; and several nieces and nephews. A brother Ernest Frier, died earlier. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home chapel. A funeral service will be held there 11 am Monday with the Rev. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Brushton at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone, Valehaven Home for Adults, or the Adironack Manor.
