Covey, R. M. & Covey, J. M. Marriage

PARENTS

Rufus was born in Mooers, Clinton Co, NY.  Jennie was born in Schroon Lake, Essex Co, NY.  Jennie was the daughter of Hiram Barzilla Covey and Corintha Eleanor Taylor.  Conflicting evidence states that Jennie was born in NY, March 1876.

Rufus and Jennie were married  in Ellenburg Corners, Clinton Co, NY.

Jennie's obituary in 1952 mentions that she and her husband moved from Ellenburg, New York in 1913 to Northfield, Vermont, where they lived on Mill Hill.

Rufus & Jennie died in Northfield, Washington Co, VT.  They were buried in Northfield Ctr, Washington Co, VT.

The 1900 Soundex of MA listed Rufus Covey with his family, but the Soundex page was so light, that additional details could not make out other than he was born 1876 NY, and was aged 24. This entry needs to be looked at again once again on a different reader.
