Two School Tax Receipts of John Lamb



A receipt given to John Lamb for payment of school taxes on Lot 48c, Concession 1. The payment was for the scholastic year 30 June 1851 until 30 June 1852. This same property was removed from the jurisdiction of Hemmingford Township in 1857 when it became part of the newly created Franklin Township.





A receipt given to John Lamb in 1864 for payment of school taxes in the newly formed Township of Fanklin.
