Invoice from Thomas Allchin to John Lamb

An invoice of purchases by John Lamb from Thomas Allchin. It is speculated that the transaction took place in the Allchin Line Store on the Canada/US border beside the Clinton Mills Road. I would imagine the foundation for the store is still visible. When I last saw it, the cellar was at least 6 feet deep. From the date on the receipt below, the year of the invoice is speculated to be 1860

A receipt written on the back side of the invoice above. This receipt indicated a payment of $ 3.25 from John Lamb to Thomas Allchin. The date on the receipt appears to be 31 December 1860.
