ALBERT JAMES LAMBING (1851-1935)
(Son of Lewis E. and Elisabeth Dean Lambing)
Albert J Lambing                     A.J. and Addah Lambing

Albert J. Lambing married Addah Longstreth (born January 28, 1862 and died October 18, 1945) September 24, 1883 and built the present house.  There seems to be some differences in the spelling of Addie's name.  The marriage license of A.J. and Addie has the name spelled Ada Longstreth.  She was know as Addie.  The following is a copy of their marriage license follows.

Ambrose and his folks built a house south and east of the original house.  The original house was torn down, the well covered up and the land of the original house was turned to farm land.  Ambrose and his mother continued to live in their house after Lewis' death in 1886.  Ambrose's mother (Elizabeth Dean) died in 1897.  Ambrose died in 1917 after suffering a stroke in 1910.  Their house then gradually wasted away and was torn down by Harry Dutton who later owned the place.  The "Old House" was used for grain storage and a home for rats, mice, and other animals before it was torn down.  The shutters on Minnie's house (Emma's daughter) came from Lewis' house.
