von Fischerbach Von Fischerbach means literally from Fischerbach or in English, from Fischerbrook. So the Baron would actually be known as Baron Johann Adam Fischer from Fischerbach. Fischerbach is a village near Freiburg in the Black Forest. In these pages you will find my lineage going back to the Baron, plus the few documents that some Fisher cousins sent me. My Fisher immigrant was Adam Fisher/Fischer, born abt 1710, to the Baron and unknown. The name was changed to Fisher when Adam came to America.
