Pictured above is Joseph LaBerge of Oakwood Township, North Dakota. Joseph was born in 1861 in St. Martine, Quebec, and died on 13 February 1936 in Oakwood Township. Joseph pioneered in Oakwood in 1879 at the age of 18. Pictured with Joseph are his wife, Georgianna Bouthillier, and his mother, Josephte Suprenant LaBerge (seated).
