Photos courtesy of Rene LaBerge, Burlington, VT

Pictured above is Joseph LaBarge (1856-1921) and his wife, Rose Delima Vigeau (1859-1925), and their family taken sometime before 1921. Joseph Laberge, a resident of Leeds, MA, was the son of Joseph Laberge and Sophie Soucisse of Wotton, Quebec. Joseph's name on his tombstone and the Northampton City directories is given as "LaBarge." However, his offspring who resided outside of the Northampton, Massachusetts area generally retained the original "Laberge" spelling of the name.
