Andy Presley for Hire

Dizney, is 13 miles from Harlan, the county seat of Harlan Co., KY. When there was a need for someone to be brought in to jail, the sheriff would hire Grandpa Andy Presley to bring him or her in. Andy knew the mountains very well and was a rather mean man himself. He was hired to bring in Jim Pace. By the time Andy got to Jim and brought him down the mountain, it was too dark to take him into town. Andy handcuffed Jim to the foot of his and Grandma Drusilla's bed over night. Andy got up the next morning, ate breakfast and took Jim into town to jail.
Andy is s/o Archie Presley & Emily Brewer. Drusilla is d/o Carlo Brittain Hall and Julia Ann Lankford.
