- Grandma Emily Brewer Presley told several family members how in the winter of 1880/1881 they left Hawkins County Tennessee. With all of their possessions in a wagon, Archie led the horse and Emily walked across the frozen Clinch River. Emily was carrying Andy who at the time would have been two years old and Millie who would have been two or three months old.
Archie is s/o Martin Presley & Rachel (Unknown). Emily is d/o Sylvaneous Brewer & Amelia Moore.
