Stretch Neck Hollow Turning Place
On the left are the barn and house of Elmer Presley & Maudie Durham Presley. As you can see the road is only one car wide. If you met a car while on the road, you would have to back up to one of these turn around spots. Also, if you needed to park your car or turn around to go the other direction, you would use these turn around spots. There were just a few of these on the road. Directly across from this turning spot was the opening to a privately owned coal mine. This was owned by Elmer Presley and Junior Cloud.
