SPECIAL DEDICATION TO
MAUDIE MARIE DURHAM PRESLEY
May 19, 1914 - March 14, 2005
- Maudie Marie Durham was the third and youngest
child of Clarence Durham and Maggie Grady.
She was born in Rockcastle Co., KY.
Her father Clarence was killed in 1920.
Maudie came to Dizney, Harlan Co., KY about 1925 to live with her sister Eva.
Maudie married Elmer Presley on April 16, 1927.
They lived on Stretchneck Hollow, in Dizney, Harlan Co., KY and
together had eight children; seven of which reached adulthood.
In April 1982, Maudie and her youngest son, Larry, moved to Lebanon, Warren Co., OH.
Maudie was a past Grand Noble of the Rebecca lodge
of Evarts, KY and Lebanon, OH.
She was an avid Bingo player and loved to play "Skipbo".
