COCA-COLA UNEXPECTED SUMMER
YOU CAN WIN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE

Well folks, if you haven't heard, I was a grand prize winner of the Coca-Cola Unexpected Summer - You Can Win, But You Can't Hide Sweepstake! I won a 2005 Chevy Equinox 2WD LT! I purchased a 12 pack of Coke on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 and found a GPS game can inside. I called from the Coke Can (yes it had a cell phone and GPS locator inside) and spoke with a gentlemen from Coca-Cola in Atlanta, GA. He took down my information and said that someone from D.L. Blair (the company sponsoring the game) would be calling me. A few hours later my regular phone rang and it was D.L. Blair. Then I had to verify the information located on the GPS can and they called me on the Coke can to verify that I did in fact have a GPS can. Then I answered questions for a phone affidavit and was told that someone else from D.L. Blair would be calling me to activate the GPS. Later that afternoon D.L. Blair called and activated the GPS. On Thursday I received an overnight package with the affidavit and the phone cords. I returned the information to D.L. Blair and then the waiting game began. I was required to carry the Coke can and the phone cords with me 24 hours a day until the delivery of the car. On July 1, 2004, I received a phone call on my Coke can wanting to know if I was up and descent. It was about 10:26 a.m. There were four representatives from the Coca-Cola plant in Cincinnati, a representative from D.L. Blair and another person from Coca-Cola who was the official delivery person for the car. On July 21, 2004 I took delivery of the car.

The photos that follow are some of the pictures that were taken. I tried to make this as brief as possible. Thanks and enjoy! I know that I certainly am!
