Charles married (1) Mary JONES in 1692 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Mary was born about 1670 in Piscataway, New Jersey. She died in 1700 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey.
They had the following children:
4 M i Benjamin SALLIER was born on 4 Dec 1693 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey. He died about 1760. Benjamin married Elizabeth about 1720. Elizabeth was born in 1697 in New Jersey. She died about 1760. 5 F ii Mary SALLIER was born on 17 Oct 1695 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey. She died about 1760. + 6 M iii Charles SALLIER Jr.
Charles married (2) Rebecca about 1718 in Woodridge, Middlesex Co New Jersey. Rebecca died about 1750 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey.
In the vital records of the Woodbridge area, you will find the birth of Rebecca Bloomfield, daughter of Ezekiel Bloomfield, on 7 June 1686 and DIED 25 December 1688. There were a number of Bloomfields in the area, but the Monnette book mentioned above states that the Rebecca who married Charles Sallier(Salyer), Sr. was the daughter of Ezekiel Bloomfield. This is obviously an error as proved by her death record and other New Jersey records that I have searched. [Elisabeth Salyer]
