JESSE LEWIS GIBBS served with headquarters Regiment 15 Infantry, 71st Division served in Germany. He was born in East Bernstadt Kentucky in 1923. He enter active service 2 April 1942 and departed 11 January 1946. He went to Helvitia Grammer school. He moved to Connersville, Indiana. He worked at the Ford plant there and retired after 35 years of service. He spends his time helping taking care of my mom who had a stroke , he enjoys sports on tv, and fishing when someone takes him. He is my Father.
