LAWRENCE JOHN HORNUNG SR, Son of FREDRICK HORNUNG and ANNA KREMER was born 19 April 1896 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, and died 18 November 1970 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He married FLORENCE ANNE SCHABEL 10 August 1921 in St Martins Catholic Church, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, daughter of FRANCIS SCHABEL and ROSE FREDINGER. She was born 24 November 1900, and died 13 June 1988 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Shively Post American Legion and Bishop Spalding Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. He is my Grandfather.
