My grandfather JOHN "BENJAMIN(E)" CLARK (born1879 KY died 1967 KY) is standing on the left.
Unknown man is standing in back of the older man who's seated. This older man "could be" Ben's father, JOHN B CLARK (born 1848 in Virginia died 1901 KY). However, I see more of a resemblance between the man on the right who is standing and the older man,
than between Ben and the older man.
Ben's only brother Delbert resembles Ben;
Delbert was a child in 1901.

Also, notice the older man's hands are that of a man who has done a lot of physical labor all his life. Ben's father was a coal miner, as were his inlaws, etc..
